Well, life here has been going well. Nothing really sensational has happened for the last few weeks since school has started but because it is going on we have a lot of activities to attend to. Lorane is doing driver's ed and we are all glad that she is almost done because we really did not like getting up at 5am to drop her off.
A funny thing happened last week. Lorane is playing Volleyball like many of you know and their team went to a tournament in Provo. The first day was a warm-up day. It didn't count for anything, it was just so that the new players could get their feet wet and feel abit more comfortable on the court. Well, Loranes coach, unlike the others actually used the day for what it was for and because her team lost most of the games that day. They didn't mean anything so they were not too worried. The next day when the actual tournament was on Spanish Fork played and whipped every other team out there and most of them were flabergasted because they did not expect to lose to the worst team from the day before. Needless to say, Loranes team took the tournament.
As far as everyone else goes, all is well. Dad is writing as usual. Sharon and Ryan are going to school.

Richard's book and fruit
Lots of stuff has happened for August and no time was spent telling you about it. Richard has now finished his book. Published it and we now have a bunch of boxes.
I canned a lot of apricots and now this week peaches off of our tree. Then put up more metal shelves in storage room as no room for all the jars of fruit and jam. I hope they last all winter to help support our food supplements.
Our water bill for out side was huge for adding extra water on the apple tree and peach tree and grapes.

What a neat week we got to see Elva Jean and Jerry and family as they were driving to the mountain to go fishing. Then later EJ, Sharon and I went to the Mount Timpanogos Temple. Then she showed me where Brett and Tara live there. We have missed not visiting more with them.
Sorry no pictures of the family I forgot the camera.
